New Music: Love Note

 


I wrote this song in Muncie in a dilapidated house with a basement labyrinth that was almost certainly haunted. It was frequently played in the live incarnation of Theme Park Mistress, and over the years I've always played it pretty much any time I played live. A surreal tale of Jesus Christ and wrestling angels, the words matter less than the sound, which is just simple rock 'n' roll. I used the tele, my cheap Jaguar bass, my trusty Epiphone Blues Custom, and my vocal cords. That's all you need, right? I think so.
